The first appearance of the Schnoodle was in the 1980s. they needed to bring the Poodle’s calm, sensitive and loving characteristics together with a Schnauzer’s active, fierce and intelligent characteristics. One more thing they needed to do was transfer the Poodle’s hypoallergenic nature to another dog- a new breed. Thus, the Schnoodle was created. The Schnoodle comes mostly in black, black and white, gray and silver. ### Temperament The Schnoodle is a very active dog; they are always jumpy and playful and also love to be the center of attention. They take two distinctive character traits from both parents; from the poodle, they take the attention-seeking desire to please, and from the Schnauzer, they take the full-blown activeness. They are very friendly and love to be with family and children. They adapt easily to a new environment and they are not very annoying when you first get them as they easily adjust to your characteristics. This adaptability helps in creating a better relationship between you and the dog. They are also highly sensitive dogs.
